To request a quote, describe the rooms, their condition and how often you want cleaning. When comparing quotes, check which tasks each one includes. Whether you live in a Philadelphia apartment or a house outside the city, those details matter more than square footage alone.

Describe more than the square footage

Know the approximate size of your home? Include it. If not, start with the number of bathrooms, bedrooms and floors, then mention any rooms you do not need cleaned. A two-bathroom home can take different work from a one-bathroom home of the same size.

If you live in an apartment, mention stairs, elevator access and building rules. In a house, tell us which floors need attention. You do not need to measure every room before asking for a quote.

Explain the home's current condition

If the bathrooms have fallen behind or pet hair is taking over the floors, say so. That helps explain the work needed. There is no need to make your home look ready for guests before asking for cleaning help.

A quick example helps: “The kitchen is manageable, but the two bathrooms need extra attention.” That gives us more to work with than “deep clean everything.” If you have recently had renovation work done, mention the dust or debris separately.

Separate the first visit from recurring cleaning

Ask what the first visit will cost and what later visits would include. Then compare the cost per visit and how often the team would come. If a discount or a different first-visit price is offered, have it included in the quote.

Our weekly versus biweekly cleaning guide helps you compare routines. You can also explore recurring house cleaning before choosing a preferred frequency.

Compare the actual tasks included

Use the same description when requesting different quotes. Compare these points together:

  • Rooms: which rooms and bathrooms are included?
  • Surfaces and floors: what will be cleaned in each room?
  • Detail requests: are appliance interiors, cabinets or other priorities included, available separately or outside the service?
  • Preparation: what should you clear or put away before arrival?
  • Supplies: what arrangements or product preferences need confirmation?
  • Timing and terms: what is the agreed schedule, payment arrangement and rescheduling policy?

Give your location and access details

Start with your city or ZIP. Then add anything that could make arrival tricky, such as a locked building entrance or limited parking. An apartment in Philadelphia and a house in Newtown may need different arrival plans. Share the details rather than trying to work out how they affect the price yourself.

We clean homes across Greater Philadelphia, from Philadelphia and Bensalem to Doylestown. Send your ZIP code and we will confirm we can reach you.

A simple request you can adapt

I'm looking for house cleaning in [city or ZIP]. The home has [bedrooms], [bathrooms] and [floors]. I am interested in [one-time or recurring] cleaning. My main priorities are [areas or tasks]. The current condition is [brief description], and my preferred timing is [date or frequency].

House cleaning quote questions

Can you quote from a ZIP code alone?

A ZIP tells us where you are, but not how much cleaning your home needs. Add the rooms, condition and tasks you have in mind. If you start on Service Areas, your location carries into the quote form so you do not have to type it twice.

Should I choose the lowest quote?

Look at the work included before choosing. A lower quote may leave out a room or task you care about. A higher price is not automatically a better fit, either. Ask about anything that is unclear.
